Chandra Talkies was born during the pandemic when lockdowns imposed a sense of captivity into her mind, just as it did to others.
When she saw her physical freedom being threatened, she started to realise this was the time to do what she always wanted to do.
To break away from the old ways of doing things. The usual and the boring. The ones that you have to stick to because they’ve always
worked and no other way is allowed. That's like totally discrediting the theory of evolution.
All of a sudden, one of her many far-sighted career goals, to start a film production company, zoomed right into her face.
She firmly believes that it chose her and not the other way round. All she did was trust herself a little more because running a company
might not be rocket science but it definitely is helicopter engineering.
She has worked for the creative media industry for the past 14 years. With having worked on-ground for some of the world's
best television reality shows like Survivor and Got Talent, she has spear-headed teams for short and long form content for brands like Amazon,
BBC and Prime Focus.
One of the biggest learnings from reality television that stays with her is the sense of time and pace that is needed in production of shows
along with the most important element - an organised team. Likewise, the experience with scripted and branded content and a few Indie projects
brought along with it the urge to bring in quality in terms of story-telling, visuals and sound. The key element still being the people,
that make or break a show - both in production and creative.
Chandra Talkies constantly looks out for diverse collaborations and welcomes those who like to experiment and bring in fresh perspectives and
insights to deliver meaningful and visually appealing content to our existing and future clients.
